Finding a dentist you trust makes all the difference. Laxey Dental Surgery welcomes new private patients from Douglas, Onchan, Ramsey and across the Isle of Man. Your first appointment is unhurried, thorough and focused on getting to know you.
Your first visit
We start by talking about your dental history, any concerns and what you would like from your care. Your dentist then carries out a full examination of your teeth, gums, mouth and jaw, including screening for oral cancer, and X-rays where needed.
We explain everything we find in plain language and give you a written plan with clear costs. Nothing is started without your agreement.
Ongoing check-ups
Regular check-ups catch small problems before they become painful or costly. Most patients see us every six to twelve months, alongside visits to our dental hygienist for cleaning and gum disease prevention.
If something goes wrong between visits, registered patients can contact us for help with a dental emergency.
More than a check-up
Your check-up is also a chance to discuss how you would like your smile to look. We offer cosmetic dentistry including teeth whitening, composite bonding, veneers and Invisalign clear aligners, plus dental implants to replace missing teeth.
